Another Great FanFic Video
I the tradition of my previous post about Art Of The Saber, here is another great fan made movie:Grayson. It was made by fans of the DC universe and it's got an interesting premise: 20 years after the settings of the batman films, The caped crusader is murdered and it comes to Robin (Dick Grayson) to avenge him.

This "trailer" was shot for a self-financed (ie.: credit cards) 18K$ over the course of almost 2 years. The site also features a half hour long behind the scenes with narration by the director.

Extremely well made, I hope he gets his point across and Warner Brother will let him have a go at making a movie out of his trailer.

Advice For Real Life
In another great line of Vice articles: THE VICE GUIDE TO EVERYTHING
Some gems:
DOs & DON'Ts—Fuck-frequency
In the first year of a relationship, you have to do it at least four times a week. Second year it goes down to three. From the third year to the fifth year, you have to do it at least twice a week. After that, it's once a week until you get married, then it's never (seriously).

DOs & DON'Ts—Scent
Don't wear cologne. A boy's natural scent is truly delicious. And even fresh BO is great. Sure, Drakkar Noir has an aphrodisiac in it, but we're not in seventh grade, and you don't need to hide the pot stench from your mom.

And this one that I hope everyone heeds, especially in the subway:

DOs & DON'Ts—The Golden Rule
Don't go in before the other person comes out. This applies to a restaurant, a building, a bus, anything. It is so universal that you should let it philosophically inform everything else you do for the rest of your life. Don't go in before the other person comes out.

I Heart Bjork
I don't always like everything Bjork does but it's worth the effort of trying out her music. I read a recent article here where she said:

"There is this stereotype of Icelanders all believing in spirits, and I've played up to that a bit in interviews too. As a member of Sigurrós said, whenever a foreign record company comes over to sign an Icelandic band, the first thing they do is ask the band members whether they believe in elves, and if the do, they get signed. I hate to sound grumpy, but there are a lot of people out there who believe in a 2000 year old fairy tale. Both sides are waiting for their Messiah to arrive. And then people point their fingers at us and say we are superstitious."

and also:
"You know, its ironic that just at the point the lawyers and the businessmen had calculated how to control music, the internet comes along and fucks everything up.? Björk gives the finger again, this time waving it into the air. ?God bless the internet," she adds.

And what about you, then?
"I'll still be there, waving a pirate flag."

So she is anti-religion and pro-filesharing? Wow, a popular artist that actually has "unpopular" opinions and shares them.

Check out her new album, Medulla, coming out next week.

Two More Games
Desinfect the Core is a clever little game that is a bit reminiscent of GO in it's concept except the tiles are directional et only rotate in one direction. The computer opponent is relentless. Very addictive.

Cyrkam Airtos is a weird game. A co-worker tosses you a crumpled up sheet of paper. You use an articulated arm to catch it by holding your mouse. While holding the mouse, make the pitching motion and release the ball. It takes quite a while to get the hang of it but once you do, you don't want to stop. It now seems they have a regular and a subscription version. Just stick with the free version.
